This masjid is for Bangladesh people. On the sister's side, They don't greet anyone. They are so rude. Nobody sticks together shoulder to shoulder to perform Salah. That's really horrible. The rugs are unclean. I love to go to masjid with my family, but I'm sorry to say that I started to not to like to pray here because they don't stand shoulder to shoulder and give space for Shaitaan. People don't speak English too, so communication is also not happening here.

  • My first experiences with this masjid weren't good. Alhamdulillah. The first time being there, which also happened to be my first time EVER in a masjid, not a SINGLE person came over to greet me or introduce themselves. Not til nearly 30 minutes of me sitting alone, very apparently singled out & did 2 other white young woman walk in. THEN, a young college aged sister came over and welcomed me & talked to me for a couple minutes, also getting me a copy of Qur'an at the end. She was sweet and made me feel more comfortable but the group as a whole did the opposite. Also, months after this, a few months ago I called the main number asking for help as I was about to be evicted and homeless. The gentlemen who answered seemed reluctant to help me, and seemed very apathetic to my situation. I ended up going to another masjid who ended up helping me immediately , no questions asked. This masjid was very far from me so I was only able to go their to pray a couple times and for a lecture once. I reached out NUMBEROUS times to that masjid looking for someone to help me with transportation and nobody could help. So I reached out to NPM to ask for transportation & immediately I found a sister willing to help me get to and from. So I tried NPM out again, my experience this time around, after now going there for awhile, I do really really enjoy it. With the young girl who takes me there, I have found a friend in her, She is very, very sweet and has introduced me to her friends from NPM so being with them makes me feel comfortable and part of the community. Alhamdulillah. The masjid is pretty small, however, and gets extremely packed at times during the womans side that woman are knocking you over and into walls, etc. Sometimes I question if it's intentional? They DO speak english here, not sure why the above person said they don't? My entire point to this half good , half bad review is that it doesn't really matter the likes and dislikes of a masjd, the point of the matter is that the masjid is a house of worship, it is Allah's home on Earthأرض . Subhaanallah, It is there for us to make the best out of it, to love it, to care for it, and to praise him. If there is something that isn't right about it or isn't good with it, if there is something we don't like about it, then as an Ummah we must change it together to make it the best of it's ability. I will worship were Allah has provided for me and NPM is the closest for me, so it has become my home Masjid and insha' Allah I will strive to love Allah there and not get caught up in the issues about it.
